As a life-long resident of Puyallup, I am a strong advocate for safe communities, sustainable parks and recreation programs and preservation of our communities. As a mom, I am working to create a safe, family-oriented community that welcomes newcomers and celebrates our long-standing traditions. Together, we can create a home town in which our children will want to raise their families.

As a leader of Shaw ComeTogether, I rallied citizens locally and statewide to protect our neighborhoods from unregulated halfway houses. I organized a massive citizen lobbying campaign to pass Senate Bill 5105, placing conditions around the Dept. of Corrections’ housing voucher program for released felons and sex offenders. The Governor signed it into law on May 16, 2013.

As a business owner, I want to expand Puyallup’s long-term strategic vision to strengthen our local economy.   I support continued re-vitalization of downtown and improved access to the Sounder train while protecting the character of downtown. My priorities include a sound city budget, representing the interests of South Hill residents and businesses, and building relationships that result in workable solutions for our City.

My passion and community involvement have prepared me well for this next step in public service.  I would be honored to have your vote.
